How can I find peer reviewed or scholarly journal articles?
The library has a broad variety of academic databases that can be used to search for per reviewed and scholarly journal articles. Not all journals in an academic database is peer reviewed or scholarly though, so you should either use a limitation function in the database or go to the library’s periodical database, Ulrich’s, to find information about a specific journal.
Note that the peer reviewed and scholarly status is on journal level only. Most of the articles in a peer reviewed or scholarly journal are academic, but there can be other contributions such as editorials, news, book reviews etc. included as well.
You are always welcome to book research support with a librarian. We can support you in your process of searching and evaluate information. Contact us by e-mail to book an appointment.
